Attention small business owners, employees, and consumers – Small Business Week is here! Running from April 30 to May 6, 2023, this is a 50-year tradition that honors small businesses and their contributions to the community.
If you haven’t celebrated Small Business Week in the past, now is a great time to start! Take this opportunity to honor your small business and others in the community.
Here are Three ways you can get involved…
- Share your story – if you are a small business owner, you have a story about why you were motivated to start your business or why you became involved in the business you now own. Take this time to share that story with your customers and supporters.
- Say thank you to the people who keep your business going – every business owner knows it’s not just them that keeps the business going. It’s also your team, your clients, and your supporters. Take a moment to thank them!
- Get the word out – I understand just as well as the next business owner that the weeks fly by, but don’t miss out on Small Business Week just because you’re busy. You can post about it on social media, write a blog sharing your story, send an email to your clients and supporters, or include an acknowledgment in your newsletter.
